It seems as if a particularly rocky launch and a bit of controversy surrounding its online requirement and auction house — the latter of which is scheduled to be removed next month — haven’t kept Diablo III from selling well. Activision Blizzard announced during a post-earnings financial call that the game has sold an impressive 15 million copies across all platforms. That includes PC, Mac, Xbox 360, and PS3, with the PS4 and potentially Xbox One versions still on the way. That’s another million sold since November.
Blizzard is currently prepping its first expansion, Reaper of Souls, which is slated to release on March 25th for PC, Mac, and PS4. No word yet on whether or not it will also arrive on Xbox 360.
