El Rey Network just revealed 12 new lobby card images from the Austin, TX set of “From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series,” featuring first looks at Robert Patrick, Madison Davenport and Brandon Soo Hoo as the Fuller family (Jacob, Kate and Scott Fuller) and Jesse Garcia as Texas Ranger Freddie Gonzalez, along with new images of D.J. Cotrona and Zane Holtz as the Gecko Brothers, Eiza Gonzalez as Santanico Pandemonium, Wilmer Valderrama as Carlos Madrigal, and Don Johnson as Sheriff Earl McGraw!
The network’s first scripted original on Robert Rodriguez’s new genre-busting cable network, “From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series” is based on the thrill-ride film of the same name. The 10-episode serialized drama is centered around bank robber, Seth Gecko and his violent, unpredictable brother, Richard “Richie” Gecko, who are wanted by the FBI and Texas Rangers Earl McGraw and Freddie Gonzalez after a bank heist left several people dead. While on the run to Mexico, Seth and Richie encounter former pastor Jacob Fuller and his family, whom they take hostage. Using the family RV to cross the border, chaos ensues when the group detours to a strip club that is populated by vampires. They are forced to fight until dawn in order to get out alive.
“From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series” will premiere on El Rey Network, Tuesday, March 11th at 9pm ET/PT. But before the network debut, SXSW announced that the pilot will screen on Saturday, March 8 at 4:30PM at the Vimeo Theater. Robert Rodriguez and many of the cast will be in attendance!
