‘Master Reboot’ Invades The PS3′s Soul Cloud On March 4

MR4

The PS3 exclusive indie horror game Master Reboot is exciting for a number of reasons. For one, it’s colorful. No liberal use of browns and greys here, no sir. It also has a trippy story set in a vibrantly realized world. I’m not sure I entirely understand it — something about Soul Clouds, which generate explorable structures that house your soul when you die — but my feeble mind’s inability to wrap itself around the concept only makes this game more intriguing.

It was expected to arrive this month, but now we’re looking at a March 4 release date. Trailer and screens after the jump.

it’s always amazing to me how these pics/this game and pretty much every horror game have more atmosphere and creepiness than like 99% of horror movies made these days. i think film directors need to be forced to watch/play horror games to remember that atmosphere is a HUGE key deal in horror movies.

i’ll probably get bashed for saying this but Rob Zombie’s H2 actually has great atmosphere in many shots in the movie.
