Hot off the sale of his Green Inferno, pictured below, acquired by Open Road for release this summer, horror icon Eli Roth (Cabin Fever, Hostel) has locked in his next directing gig.
TheWrap reports that Roth is set to reteam with his Aftershock co-writers on the horror movie Knock Knock.
Roth will direct from an original screenplay he co-wrote with Nicolas Lopez and Guillermo Amoeda. Roth will also produce with Colleen Camp (Squirrels to the Nuts).
“The story follows two young girls who show up unexpectedly at the home of a married man where they seduce him and wreak havoc on his perfect life.”
Knock Knock, which is budgeted under $10 million, is scheduled to start production in April.
