“Thunderstruck” is one of rock’s most iconic songs. From its awesome opening lick to the arena chantworthy chorus, it’s always been a song that has gotten feet stomping, fists pumping, and mosh pits going crazy. And now Croatian duo 2CELLOS has taken the song and given it their own classical-meets-badass flavor. Playing in front of a Victorian audience (who are less than impressed by the performance), the duo rocks the song so hard that the hair on their bows is fraying everywhere and one of them even rocks the cello on his back on the floor.
In a word, it’s awesome. It’s obvious how much fun these two are having and that enthusiasm translates directly to the viewing experience. Go on down and give it a watch!
