[TV] Behind the Scenes of Brutal “Hannibal” Fight!
Yesterday we shared the below clip from “Hanibal” featuring the title character getting down and dirty with Jack Crawford, the head of the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit, in a massive fight to open season 2. We now have a behind-the-scenes look at the sequence with stars Laurence Fishburne and Mads Mikkelsen.
We also have a new promo from “Hannibal’s” return. Maker reservations for 10 p.m. (ET/PT) this Friday!
In the premiere episode, 2.01, “Kaiseki,” “With Will still in custody for the murder of Abigail, Dr. Lecter steps in to help when bodies wash up on a riverbank. The big question is whether or not Dr. Bloom will be able to help Will regain his memories.“
From creator Bryan Fuller, “Hannibal” stars Mads Mikkelsen as brilliant psychiatrist Dr. Hannibal Lector, who is working with the FBI and gifted criminal profiler Will Graham, played by Hugh Dancy, to look into the mind of serial killers. Based on Thomas Harris’ best-selling novels, this series is the prequel to the story that began with the feature films “Red Dragon” and “Silence of the Lambs.”
Caroline Dhavernas and Hettienne Park also co-star.
Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day, Freaky) is staying busy here in 2024, directing not only the werewolf movie Big Bad but also an upcoming thriller titled Drop.
The project for Blumhouse and Platinum Dunes is being described as a “fast-paced thriller,” and Deadline reports today that Violett Beane (Truth or Dare) has joined the cast.
Newcomer Jacob Robinson has also signed on to star in the mysterious thriller. Previously announced, Meghann Fahy (“White Lotus”) will be leading the cast.
Landon recently teased on Twitter, “This is my love letter to DePalma.”
Jillian Jacobs and Chris Roach wrote the script.
Michael Bay, Jason Blum, Brad Fuller and Cameron Fuller — “who brought the script in to Platinum Dunes” — are producing the upcoming Drop. Sam Lerner is an executive producer.
THR notes, “The film is a Platinum Dunes and Blumhouse production for Universal.”
