The New ‘Godzilla’ Is the Largest of Them All!!!

Even more images via Empire Magazine who shared teo behind-the-scenes looks at Godzilla, as well as this awesome size chart that displays just how large Godzilla is – and that’s the largest of all time.

The world’s tallest man-made structure is the 829.8 m (2,722 ft) tall Burj Khalifa in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Godzilla could climb this building and cause some serious damage!

Monsters‘ Gareth Edwards directs the all star cast including Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston, Aaron Johnson, Juliette Binoche, David Strathairn, Ken Watanabe, Richard T. Jones, Sally Hawkins, Akira Takarada, Victor Rasuk, Yuki Morita, and C.J. Adams.

In theaters May 16, 2014, an epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence. Making his first appearance in 1954 (Gojira) Godzilla is a giant monster that lives in the sea that comes from the ocean to feed on mankind.

    No way it’s just 100 meters… I’m sure it is atleast 200 meters if you look at the trailer and compare it to the buildings height

    I dunno. In the trailer he swims and starts rising underneath what appear to be naval cruisers. Those things average 170-180m in length and he’s clearly dwarfing them

      If they aren’t cruisers and are destroyers or frigates well those don’t get much smaller in length than 70-80m and can be up to 160m. So even if they’re smaller models, he’s still bigger than them and by enough of a margin to easily clear 100m.
