New Pics And Blu-ray Art For ‘Mr. Jones’ Hide In The Woods

Mr. Jones STILL 24 RGB

It’s crazy how long ago I saw the sales art for Mr. Jones, I’m sure my exposure to the film dates way back to before they started shooting, so I’m definitely looking forward to checking it out when the film hits Blu-ray and DVD on May 6th from Anchor Bay Films.

Having premiered at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival in 2013, Mr. Jones will also have an exclusive Los Angeles limited theatrical engagement beginning May 2nd.

Scott (Jon Foster of Stay Alive) and Penny (Sarah Jones of “Sons Of Anarchy”) just moved to a remote cabin to escape the pressures of the world and breathe new life into their art. But they’ll soon discover they are not alone: an infamously reclusive artist – known only as ‘Mr. Jones’ – lives nearby. He doesn’t like to be disturbed, and only comes out at night when he drags his strange, sinister sculptures deep into the woods. When Scott and Penny’s curiosity leads them too close for Mr. Jones’ comfort, he plunges the young couple into a nightmare world of mayhem, madness and mind-bending terror.

Diane Neal (“Law & Order: SVU”), Mark Steger (I Am Legend) and David Clennon (John Carpenter’s The Thing) co-star in this startling tale from debut director Karl Mueller (screenwriter of Xavier Gens’ The Divide).

I was sold the very moment you mentioned that Palmer is in the cast.

Seriously? A picture of the killer? What is with this trend of doing the reveal in pre-release material? What happened to keeping it a surprise?

I hate to be negative here, but there are no surprises left in movies…..especially horror movies. The only surprise in a horror movie is when its good; that’s it. What I’m saying is if the movie is good, its not because of any surprises it may have had. So don’t let the image of the villain discourage you from viewing the film. I hope its good all the same.
