Satan’s newborn baby has been discharged…

Fox Home Entertainment has announced that Radio Silence’s (V/H/S) found-footage Devil’s Due (read our review) will be arriving on Blu-ray and DVD April 29.

Extra features include: deleted scenes, audio commentary, director’s photo album, and “Radio Silence: A Hell of a Tea”.

After a mysterious, lost night on their honeymoon, a newlywed couple finds themselves dealing with an earlier-than-planned pregnancy. While recording everything for posterity, the husband begins to notice odd behavior in his wife that they initially write off to nerves, but, as the months pass, it becomes evident that the dark changes to her body and mind have a much more sinister origin.

Not as bad as I thought it would be.

Generic and run of the mill? Yeah, but the finale is intense, and IMO, it’s not as bad as other recent found-footage (i.e. The Devil Inside) films. Although, the entire movie feels like a remake for Rosemary’s Baby, and it’s almost impossible to ignore the similarities.

This movie sucked. Bland all the way through and no payoff. The Marked Ones kicked its ass in every way.
