Sundance 2005: ‘The Jacket’ + Another ‘Wolf Creek’ Review

Review madness and our coverage of Sundance 2005 continues as we’ve got two more reviews for you. The first is a review of the film everyone’s been talking about, The Jacket, which stars Adrien Brody, Keira Knightley, Daniel Craig, Kris Kristofferson, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Kelly Lynch, Brad Renfro and Mackenzie Phillips. The film is a psychological thriller about a military veteran who returns to his native Vermont suffering from bouts of amnesia. Also creating much hype around Sundance is Dimension’s film Wolf Creek (review #1), but did Mr. Disgusting think it was all that good? The answer lies in the review, which can be read here. The film, made for less than $2 million, centers on a group of backpackers who have a run in with a loopy stranger. The film is being called the next ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre.’
