The Tribeca Film Festival announced last week its feature film selections in the Midnight Screenings sections.
Already revealed is Zombeavers, which is a straight-faced horror comedy that’s NOT like Sharknado.
Directed by Jordan Rubin, Zombeavers follows a rampage of killer beavers hunting college students. Check out a brand new, clean look at one of the film’s creatures!
Starring Cortney Palm, Lexi Atkins, Rachel Melvin, Hutch Dano and Jake Weary, “Zombeavers is an action-packed horror/comedy in which a group of college kids staying at a riverside cabin are menaced by a swarm of deadly zombie beavers. A weekend of sex and debauchery soon turns gruesome as the beavers close in on the kids. Riding the line between scary, sexy and funny, the kids are soon fighting for their lives in a desperate attempt to fend off the hoard of beavers that attack them in and around their cabin.”
It hails from the producers of The Ring and Cabin Fever.
The 13th edition of the Festival will take place from April 16th to April 27th in New York City.
