Get ready to hitchhike into terror…

Earlier this year we shared a ton of new images from Image Entertainment’s highly anticipated slasher, Wolf Creek 2

John Jarratt returns as the killer Mick Taylor, with Ryan Corr, Shannon Ashlyn and Philipe Klaus also starring in this sequel to the popular Sundance slasher originally released by Dimension Films.

EW landed the official theatrical one-sheet as well as release details. So when does Mick Taylor torment new backpackers? Wolf Creek 2 gets a VOD release on April 17, with a theatrical run set for May 16!

Directed again by Greg McLean, “Lured by the promise of an Australian holiday, backpackers Rutger, Katarina, and Paul visit the notorious Wolf Creek Crater. Their dream Outback adventure soon becomes a horrific reality when they encounter the site’s most infamous local, the last man any traveler to the region ever wants to meet; Mick Taylor (John Jarratt).

As the backpackers flee, Mick pursues them on an epic white knuckled rampage across hostile wasteland. Only one will remain to be dragged back to his lair to witness the true magnitude of his monstrosity. And if the last man standing is to have any hope of surviving where no one else has survived before, he’ll have to use every ounce of cunning to outwit the man behind the monster and become every bit as ruthless as the monster inside the man.

Damn I cant wait for this.I hope this film makes a lotta money.I highly doubt this will really be carried in any major theatres, which is bullshit. But if it is, I’ll be there may 16th. I’d love to get more sequels without waiting almost a decade

It’s already been released here in Australia and it’s bloody good fun! Does the classic horror sequel thing and amps up the black comedy. Not necessarily scary but a great dark thrill ride and an awesome follow-up!
