Perhaps one of the most influential rock bands in history, Led Zeppelin have paved the way for countless bands, influencing hordes of musicians who learned their songs forwards and backwards in an attempt to find and harness that magical spark that captured so many. And now, on June 3rd, the band’s first three albums will be rereleased as deluxe remastered editions, each feature bonus material that has never before been released.
This marks the beginning of a reissue period, each album remastered by guitarist Jimmy Page and each featuring time appropriate bonus material.
Page states, “The material on the companion discs presents a portal to the time of the recording of Led Zeppelin. It is a selection of work in progress with rough mixes, backing tracks, alternate versions, and new material recorded at the time.”
