As a special St. Patrick’s Day treat, WWE Studios shared the first ever clip from Leprechaun: Origins, featuring an introduction by WWE wrestler Hornswoggle (Dylan Postl) who plays the title character.
It’s unusual to see footage so early, considering the release isn’t until an undisclosed summer date, but it’s nice to see that the film is coming along nicely.
I also was impressed with the nature of the footage, which is incredibly dark. If anything, Leprechaun: Origins returns to the roots of the 1993 film that starred Warwick Davis as the little green menace.
Stephanie Bennett, Teach Grant, Bruce Blain, and Adam Boys also star, as well as Rampage and Freddy vs. Jason‘s Brendan Fletcher.
