Disney Star Also Moves into ‘Amityville’ Horror House!

Published

The floodgates have been opened for Amityville news this Sunday.

Bloody exclusively broke the news here that Maniac and P2‘s Franck Khalfoun would be directing the new Amityville Horror, while also sharing in a fresh story here that Jennifer Jason Leigh will star.

Our friends at TheWrap shared a fresh nugget of casting revealing that Disney Channel sensation Bella Thorn, pictured above, has also moved into the horror house! She will also soon be seen in Voltage Pictures’ thriller Home Invasion.

I’m told that Leigh will be playing Joan, a single mother raising three kids all on her own. The family move into the infamous “Amityville” house, only to learn that it has a very dark history.

It’s also looking as if the found-footage angle has been dropped from the film, to be distributed January 2, 2015 by TWC-Dimension.

In theaters September 20, Transformers One is the untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies. But they once were friends, bonded like brothers, who changed the fate of Cybertron forever.

In the first-ever fully CG-animated Transformers movie, Transformers One features a star-studded voice cast, including Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, and Steve Buscemi, with Laurence Fishburne and Jon Hamm.

Josh Cooley (Toy Story 4) directed the film from a script by Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari.
