Death Waltz Recording and Beat Records will be releasing Fabio Frizzi‘s iconic soundtrack to the 1980 Lucio Fulci zombie horror City Of The Living Dead. We’re thrilled to bring you this news AND to reveal the gorgeous artwork, which was done by Graham Humphreys. The CD will be available to purchase from Beat Records direct and vinyl from Death Waltz in April.
The remaster has been personally overseen by Fabio Frizzi in Rome and both the CD & Vinyl come with an exclusive bonus cue in the form of a ten minute City Of The Living Suite recorded live on Halloween 2013 in London’s historic Union Chapel church. This track is a teaser of a live album (!!!) to follow on both Beat and Death Waltz.
The CD keeps the classic poster art while the vinyl has exclusive brand new commissioned artwork from Graham Humphreys and includes brand new liner notes from composer Fabio Frizzi, artist Graham Humphreys, and noted Italian horror expert Stephen Thrower.
