EA Kicks Off Their New “On The House” Program With Free ‘Dead Space’

EA has launched a brand new program on their Origin service they’re calling “On the House”, and much like its name implies, it’s all about free games. The first freebie they’re offering is none other than the horror classic Dead Space. You can grab it now, at a decent 100% off its normal $19.99 asking price.

If you’re interested, I suggest you act fast. EA has said these offers won’t last, and they’ll appear and disappear, much like a Necromorph using the USG Ishimura’s ventilation system to sneak up behind Isaac Clarke, without notice.

Dead Space is one of my favorite horror games of all time. The Ishimura’s halls still haunt my nightmares…

Me too… but in a good way.

For the sake of gamers everywhere, EA would be better off just scrapping Origin. I mean hell, $19.99 is the regular price for Dead Space (an EA developed AND published title) on their own platform yet it’s only $14.99 on Steam…
