UK alt-rock band Anathema have announced that their next album will titled Distant Satellites and will be released June 6th via Kscope. The album was produced by Christer-André Cederberg as well as a few select tracks produced by Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree, Opeth). The album is the follow up to 2012’s fantastic Weather Systems.
The band stated, “‘Distant Satellites’ is the culmination of everything Anathema [has] been working up to so far in our musical path. It contains almost every conceivable element of the heartbeat of Anathema music that it is possible to have.”
The artwork, which you can see below, was created by Korean new media artist Sang Jun Too and based around his Distant Light Installation.
