Sega has released a new developer diary for Creative Assembly’s upcoming survival horror game Alien: Isolation, and this time it’s all about the sound. As any fan of this genre can tell you, sound can make or break a horror game. It can make its scares more visceral (Dead Space) or elevate its atmosphere to an entirely new level (Silent Hill). In this video, the devs give us a behind-the-scenes peak at how much time is invested into making the world in Alien: Isolation feel alive and horrifying.
If you missed it, you should definitely check out our interview with Gary Napper, lead designer on the game.
Alien: Isolation arrives October 7th for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
