Former The Mars Volta Members Join Forces With RHCP’s Flea For New Supergroup Antemasque

Ex-The Mars Volta members Omar Rodríguez-López, Cedric Bixler-Zavala, and drummer Dave Elitch have created Antemasque, a new supergroup with Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea. The band has released their first single, “4AM”, as well as a studio rehearsal video, both of which can be seen below.

Fans were not the only ones surprised by this announcement. Flea himself tweeted, “Woke to find out I’m in a new supergroup. Hahahaha. Played on some tracks a few weeks ago with my friends omar and Cedric for love that all“.
