I love The Onion. It’s my most trusted source for news, I’ve been an avid reader since birth. In their latest hard-hitting story, they take a look at the barbed wire industry’s reaction to The Evil Within, a survival horror game from Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami. It would seem the game’s copious amounts of barbed wire, which can be seen strewn about many of its environments, as well as the enemies that inhabit them, hasn’t gone over well with barbed wire enthusiasts.
While I’m empathetic to the barbed wire industry’s plight, I’m willing to overlook this bit of controversy only because this game looks so damn good.
Also, just in case you’re one of the five people who are unfamiliar with The Onion — yes, this is faux news.
