Welcome to the new Bloody Disgusting!
Welcome to the new Bloody Disgusting! We’ve been working behind the scenes on this new look over the past few months and we’re excited to release it into the wild. The goal was to make a site that’s faster, easier to navigate, mobile friendly, and of course… bloody and disgusting. Head past the break for a full rundown of all the changes.
Hey, guess what… we’re finally MOBILE FRIENDLY. I’ve read countless complaints about how much the old site sucked on your phones and tablets and I completely agree. This new site is responsive and should be quick to load on your computer, tablet, phone, or whatever you’re using. You’ll get the same experience no matter what device and be able to comment and browse wherever you are.
We’ve replaced our old comments system with Disqus, which means a more robust and community focused commenting system. New readers can sign up and comment in seconds, while original BD users can continue to use their original BD accounts. If you post on other sites that use Disqus you can use that same account here so you don’t have to manage separate logins. All of your old comments are being migrated over and will be back within a few days.
Forgot your BD password? Reset it in seconds here
Have questions about your Disqus account and profile? Check out their FAQ here
We’ve reorganized our content and gotten rid of the extra filler. You won’t have to “click here to read the review” anymore, because the reviews will be posted right to the front page. Everything has been neatly organized into a simplified navigation to make it easier to find what you’re looking for. Want the best of all of BD? Just browse the front page, then when you want to get into the specific sections it should be easier than ever to find exactly what you’re looking for. Want just comic reviews? You got it. Want just video posts in the games section? You got it. The search function has also been greatly improved so type in those keywords and find what really matters to you.
You’ll also notice lots of other great new features like better image galleries in news articles, more integrated media such as videos and music, and tons more.
The new layout is built for the future. It’s based on a more flexible framework that allows us to evolve and deliver the best in horror news. We know you guys will have tons of input, so let’s hear it. This is just the start and we can’t wait to hear what you have to say and continue to shape the site for the best possible experience.
I want to give a special thanks to our friends at Direction1Media for helping us with this project.
Bloody Disgusting has been online for over 13 years and we owe it all to you guys. I know some of you have been here from the very beginning and I thought it would be fun to take a look back at some of our previous iterations. Take a look at the gallery below,

SCREAMBOX Investigates UFOs and Extraterrestrials: Several Documentaries Streaming Right Now!
As someone who is obsessed with UFOS (or more recently known as UAPs) and the concept of extraterrestrials, I love a good documentary. Sightings have been on the rise since the 1940s, with the atomic bomb seemingly acting as a catalyst for new visitors. But what are these UFOs/UAPs? Is there an explanation or are they simply beyond our explanation? Why are they here? Who are they? How much do our governments know? The questions are endless and so are the documentaries that attempt to uncover the secrets behind decades of sightings and alleged confrontations.
Whether you’re a seasoned viewer or new to the rabbit hole, there’s always a handful of interesting documentaries to get your neurons firing and leave you with sleepless nights. SCREAMBOX is investigating with the addition of several docs, all streaming now on the Bloody Disgusting-powered service. Here’s the breakdown:
Aliens (2021): Beam into this unidentified streaming documentary for a glimpse into Extraterrestrial life. Aliens are hypothetical life forms that may occur outside Earth or that did not originate on Earth.
Aliens Uncovered: Origins (2021): Before Area 51, hidden deep in the desert, the military discovered a hidden gem that helped them create Project Bluebook.
Aliens Uncovered: ET or Man-Made (2022): The crash of Roswell wasn’t meant for New Mexico. In 1947, a neighboring state had 3 major sightings that were swept under the rug.
Aliens Uncovered: The Golden Record (2023): In the late 70s, the US government launched a message to our distant neighbors.
Roswell (2021): This high-flying documentary examines the July 1947 crash of a United States Army Air Forces balloon at a ranch near Roswell, New Mexico. Theories claim the crash was actually that of a flying saucer, but what is the truth?
Also check out:
The British UFO Files (2004): Since the 1940’s the British Government has been investigating the Flying Saucer phenomenon. High-ranking military and government personnel, speak out for the first time, offering unique eyewitness accounts and inside information.

And do not miss Hellier (2019): A crew of paranormal researchers find themselves in a dying coal town, where a series of strange coincidences lead them to a decades-old mystery.
