Now in post-production, the first details have arrived ahead of Cannes for MPI/Dark Sky Films’ Cherry Tree, which we now have a first look image from!
The indie horror comes from director David Keating, who is known for his incredibly creepy Wake Wood (what, you haven’t seen it yet?!).
The co-production comes via Ireland’s Fantastic Films and follows “A young woman who makes a fateful pact with a witches’ coven that can save her dying father’s life.”
Anna Walton (Hellboy II, Soulmate), Naomi Battrick and Sam Hazeldine (“Resurrection”) star.
Brendan McCarthy penned the screenplay.
