Indie Horror ‘Caffeine’ Indiegogo Campaign Unsuccessful

This hasn’t been a great month for crowdfunded horror games. First, Cult County’s campaign closed well short of its (maybe a wee bit too hopeful) funding goal, and now the Indiegogo campaign for the extremely promising indie horror game Caffeine has also ended significantly short of its goal. $3,212 is nothing to scoff at, but it’s also not $80,000.

It sounds like it’s still very much in development, so that’s good news. I hope it still sees a release, because I certainly enjoyed my time with its proof-of-concept demo.

For more Caffeine, follow it on Steam Greenlight.

at the end of the day..not everyone wants to give someone free money or money for something that is not 100% going to happen or be good
there is always only so much money people want to give to certain things as well
the fact is he has already done some of the game or a demo of it which means he can very well do a complete game without the money lol

That’s too bad. It looked like something great.
