‘Star Wars: Episode 7’ Has Gone Behind Cameras!

A long time ago on our planet far, far away…

The slate has dropped and filming has commenced on Star Wars: Episode 7. It’s officially happening, and finally without creator George Lucas. What will a modern Star Wars look like? Hopefully less dated that the previous three.

J.J. Abrams is behind the camera in London with a cast consisting of Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow.

The sequel already has a target release of December 18, 2015. I better start saving my money now because I’m going to be drowned in awesome movie tie-ins.

There’s immense pressure to deliver something timeless, but I’m still head-banging in excitement that Abrams is directing.
