Sam B Makes A Glorious(?) Return in ‘Dead Island: Epidemic’

Techland’s Dead Island series isn’t exactly known for its rich characters. None of them are particularly deep — I’d go so far as to say they’re a step or two above life-sized cardboard cut-outs of people — but there’s only one that actively annoys me, and that’s rapper Sam B. He’s ridiculous, lacks any real personality, and he’s riddled with comically outdated stereotypes.

If you’re wondering why I’m hating on this poor guy, all of the above is my long-winded way of saying Sam B. is coming back, because for some reason, Techland has decided to have him reprise his role as a zombie slaying badass in their free-to-play ZOMBA (Zombie Online Multiplayer Battle Arena) game, Dead Island: Epidemic.

Epidemic recently entered Steam Early Access, below you’ll find a fresh batch of screenshots, as well as some details on the four starter packs you can purchase to get a leg up on the competition.
