[TV] Space Orders Second Season of “Bitten”

Space announced today it has ordered a second season of the sexy thriller, “Bitten”, Space’s most-watched original series ever.

Picking up after an exhilarating Season 1 finale, Space has ordered 10 additional, one-hour episodes from No Equal Entertainment, Entertainment One Television, and Hoodwink Entertainment.

Production is expected to begin this summer and will once again be shot on location in Toronto, Hamilton, and Hespeler.

Based on the critically-acclaimed series of novels by Kelley Armstrong, “Bitten” stars Laura Vandervoort (Smallvillke, Ted) as Elena, the world’s only female werewolf along with Greg Bryk (A History Of Violence, Rookie Blue) as The Alpha pack leader Jeremy Danvers, and Greyston Holt (Durham County) as passionate Clayton Danvers. The series also stars Steve Lund as Nick Sorrentino and Michael Xavier as Dr. Logan Jonsen.

Desperate to escape both a world she never wanted to be part of and the man who turned her into a werewolf, Elena abandons her Pack and takes refuge in a new city, starting over with a hot new romance and a successful photography career. But when bodies turn up in the werewolf sanctuary, Elena is torn between the life she’s building and the wild and dangerously unpredictable one she thought she left behind.

Bitten was a little slow at times, but watchable…I’ll watch season 2.

I’m confused. Is Syfy changing names again to Space, is Space the developers of the show ON Syfy, has the show been transferred from Syfy to another channel or what? I’m presuming it’s basically just been extended to return on Syfy again and this article is just overdetailed but wanna make sure I’m not missing anything because I love the show.

brewers, from what i understand Space is the Canadian channel/company that aired/produced the show. SyFy then bought the N. American rights to air the show. so it’s a Canadian show that airs in the US on SyFy.
