Released in 1973, 34 years before we were introduced to the horrors Rapture, Japanese sci-fi mag SF Magazine featured a cover that looks eerily similar to BioShock. While the similarity is striking, Ken Levine, Irrational Games co-founder and designer on BioShock, confirmed in a statement sent to Kotaku that the magazine was not a source of inspiration for the game.
Even still, this is pretty neat.
