New Images From ‘Sin City: A Dame To Kill For’ Remind Us it’s a ‘Sin City’ Movie

I’m not against Frank Miller’s and Robert Rodriguez’s Sin City: A Dame To Kill For. I didn’t love the first one, but don’t remember disliking it either. I guess the thing that confuses me is that the first film is remembered for its style, not necessarily its story. The sequel looks to retread that style exactly, without adding anything new. Maybe it tops the 2005 film in the story department?

In theaters August 22, the film is about Dwight McCarthy planing to have his vengeance against the woman who betrayed him, Ava Lord, while Nancy is trying to cope with Hartigan’s death.

Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Eva Green, Josh Brolin, Bruce Willis, Juno Temple, Jaime King, Rosario Dawson, Michael Madsen, Jamie Chung, Dennis Haysbert, Crystal McCahill, Christopher Meloni, Josh Brolin, Jeremy Piven, Julia Garner, Ray Liotta and Stacy Keach also star.

I’m with you Evan on the story part, I hope this film will be better than the first Sin City which had it’s moment’s but sequel’s that follow their predecessor’s are usually worse! I think you could make a long list on here of a lot of film’s that had very bad sequel’s starting with Dark Man! BTW good article. Happy memorial weekend all!
