Trilogy of DLC Announced for ‘Dark Souls II’

If you’ve managed the impressive feat of beating Dark Souls II and since then have been patiently waiting for another helping of punishing dark fantasy chicanery, then boy, do I have some exciting news for you. Today, developer From Software announced a trio of DLC for the game called The Lost Crowns trilogy. Each episode will be available individually for $10 or together at a discounted price of $25.

I called Dark Souls II a “masterpiece” in my review. If there’s any game worth returning to, it’s this one. But only if you can withstand its extremely punishing nature.

The first episode is slated to arrive on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on July 22. It will be followed by the second episode on August 26, and the third on September 24.

NOOOOOOO NO MORE FUCKING POISON ENEMIES FFS. DSII pissed me off with all the poison levels/enemies. No other status type is anywhere near that prevalent. Minus that it was a lot easier for me than Dark Souls.

Still need to finish this. So near the end, Drangleic castle finished me off.
