‘Phantasm Ravager’ Tease Destroys An Entire City!

Screen Shot 2014-12-22 at 11.31.08 AM

Phantasm creator Don Coscarelli joins Phantasm: Ravager director David Hartman to tease the new film, awaiting a release in 2015.

This special holiday stocking stuffer is going to literally knock your socks off when one of the Tallman’s spheres destroys an entire city (as shown above)!

Ravager, which will be the fifth and final entry in Coscarelli’s classic horror Phantasm series, features Reggie Bannister (a veteran of all five films) in his decades long pursuit of the malevolent Tall Man, and it finally forces him to confront the mysteries at the heart of the Phantasm saga. The entire original cast is back including Michael Baldwin, Bill Thornbury, Kathy Lester and Angus Scrimm, along with some great new characters.

…entire city? I’m not sure how I feel about this…

A city as opposed to their idea of destroying to world? A city is nothing. For this to compete with the other small time big hitters, this needs to have a big open feel about the movie. This is just my opinion though. I love the Phantasm movies! I grew up on them! I just hate we had to wait so damn long for a sequel.

I’m not the biggest fan. I jsut remember the first time I saw the orb land into the guys forehead in the first one and start spilling his brains across the room was horrific (really nailed it in other words) in my young age. I have a great respect for this series, but I don’t remember it ever getting to the point where they started leveling cities outside of their plans is all. Phantasm is one of those movies I need to go back and collect as the first one had me intrigued.

There plan was to destroy the world and the living. I only hope it don’t turn out like an “Asylum” style of movie. I hope we see the golden Spheres like the one on number 2. That that was one of my favorite scenes from that movie :)

Agreed. The entire Phantasm Phan base needs to demand the week off work so we can fully immerse ourselves.

    YESS!!!!!!

  • concerned citizen

    BRING IT!!!!!!!

  • David Savage

Should they be a “reboot” of this series?

Not because I don’t like it… I FACKING LOVE THE SERIES!
Not because it’s aged and old… I FACKING LOVE how the story has spaned over 20+ years.

But because of todays technology/CGI and practical effects. Not to mention bring a new, young audience.

    Thought?
