New ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Teaser Trailer!

Star Wars The Force Awakens

“The Force is strong in our family…”

Straight from the Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim comes the second teaser trailer to Star Wars: The Force Awakens, in theaters December 18th, 2015.

If this trailer doesn’t give you chills, nothing will. We get to see Darth Vader’s destroyed mask, R2 with Luke and his robotic hand… it looks like the Skywalkers have entered the apocalypse in a galaxy far, far away. The final shot, well, it will send you into shock.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan & Abrams, and features a cast including actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie, Crystal Clarke, Pip Andersen, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow.

They will join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker.

The film is being produced by Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Bryan Burk, and John Williams returns as the composer.

    • Miranda

I actually got teary-eyed when Hans Solo said, “Chewie… we’re home.” I can’t wait for this.

  • Christopher Pelton

That shot of the crashed Star Destroyer is amazing. So far so good.

  • Victor

So this is a sequel to the original films not the remakes? Non the less looks great so far! Good for Star Wars!

    • Maxime C

No remakes were ever done for Star Wars. You might be thinking of something else.

      • SlayerLV

I think he meant prequels not remakes.

        • Maxime C

          I think too.

          • concerned citizen

In which case this film is a sequel to aaaaalll of them

          • Maxime C

Woooow awesome piece of art. #NotMyThing

        • Victor

Thanks, yea would Episode I and II be prequels, sequels or their own films? I haven’t seen them since I was about 12 years old. I’m 24 now so it’s been some years.

      • Victor

Yea I guess I didn’t know if Star Wars Episode I and II were sequels or prequels or there own films.

        • Maxime C

          Clearly yeah.
          Prequels. Lol

          • Victor

Oh ok lol good to know. Yea they weren’t that memorable but wasn’t clear on whether they were prequels or sequels.

          • Maxime C

I think it was, the blond disappeared canadian actor was supposed to become Darth Vador or something.

        • Maxime C

And if I can confess something… I really don’t give a shit about those films.

    • bdwolfe312

Um…yeah dude, I think you are thinking of “Star Tek”. There never has been any “remakes” of any Star Wars movies…

    • RidleyScottIsADirector@gmail.c

      You’re an Um Factory.

      • Victor

Ok ummm I don’t know if you were trying to say I’m not a factor but back the fuck off its a fucking question if you thought you were being funny.

    • I Am Colossus

Actually in the 90s the originals were remade with different effects. So you’re kinda right.

      • Victor

Cool that answers it then lol thanks man. I was little confused I was never a huge star wars fan to know honestly.

  • Great and I’m looking forward to seeing the original cast again.

  • Maxime C

    I couldn’t be less excited.

  • Scarlett Witch

    Looks amazing! Can’t wait.

  • BloodyMcFlipp

Never been much of a star wars fan.
I watch ’em when they’re on and not much else, but I wouldn’t watch SW on BRD, or VOD.
This new ones, however, I’ll give them a try. Looks pretty good so far. Might be the same like with the new Star Trek: Old ST series, or movies, are litarally the last thing I would ever watch on telly, but the new ones kicked ass.

  • Alanmac

    Oh FUCK!!!!

    • Ted C

Classy! Really making our gender look good.

  • STRIK9

That trailer felt more like a REAL Star Wars film than the whole prequel trilogy combined

  • So, Han and Chewie still have the same weapons as they did 40 years ago?
