The classic sci-fi/drama TV series The X-Files is getting a ton of love lately. Not only have we got the first 13 episodes of season 1 streaming in HD on Netflix (story here) but now it’s been announced by TVLine that veteran writers James Wong and Glen Morgan are returning for the upcoming six-episode revival!
The two writers collaborated on several of the series’ most acclaimed episodes and they’re each slated to write and direct one episode of the new season. Morgan will also join as executive producer with Chris Carter, who created the series.
The new season is set to shoot this summer, although no official air date has yet been set.
