Katee Sackhoff is well on her way to becoming a Scream Queen as the star of Halloween: Resurrection, The Haunting in Connecticut 2, Oculus, Riddick, White Noise 2, and even “Battlestar Galactica”) will star in the supernatural horror film Don’t Knock Twice, directed by Caradog James (The Machine), Bloody Disgusting learned out of Cannes.
Being sold in Cannes by Content Media, Don’t Knock Twice is based on a psychologically terrifying urban legend, and described as in the vein of Candyman meets The Ring!
“To save her estranged daughter, a guilt-ridden mother must uncover the terrifying truth behind the urban legend of a vengeful, demonic witch.”
James is directing Don’t Knock Twice from a script by Emmy nominated writing duo Mark Huckerby (Howl) and Nick Ostler (Howl).
The film is being produced by Red & Black Films’ John Giwa-Amu (The Machine, The Call Up) and Seymour Films’ Claire Moorsom. Content’s President of Film, Jamie Carmichael, serves as Executive Producer.
Principal photography will commence in July in the UK.
