Stills from the ‘Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death’ Blu-ray

Published

on

Earlier this week we shared the news that Full Moon Features recently released Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death on Blu-ray. Full Moon was kind enough to share with us a few still from that release and they look pretty great. They’re all pretty much of Bill Maher, so hopefully you’re a fan of his!

Synopsis:
These women are serious about their TASTE in men. To avoid a serious avocado shortage, the U.S. government hires feminist anthropology professor Margo Hunt (Shannon Tweed) to find the man-eating Piranha Women tribe who inhabit the avocado jungle of Southern California. Assisted by chauvinist Jim (Bill Maher) and a dimwitted student named Bunny, Hunt must convince the tribe to move to Malibu condos while simultaneously fending off her rival Dr. Kurtz (Adrienne Barbeau). Meanwhile, Bunny’s contemplating joining the Piranha gals…but she must consume Jim first.

As another little bonus, Full Moon sent us this old promotional artwork from the original VHS release. The map is definitely a very cool touch.

The teenagers soon understand what evil they’ve released as they are overcome with an assortment of horrific experiences. With fiendish followers invading suburbia, it’s now up to the kids to discover the secret that can lock The Gate forever . . . if it’s not too late.
