Freeform’s 13 Nights of Halloween Begins Tonight; Full Schedule

Who doesn’t love a good horror marathon on TV?!

October is the greatest, and networks like AMC and Syfy are a big part of the reason why. Sure, the movies they air may be edited for content, but just being able to turn on the TV and watch a steady stream of horror movies is something special that I enjoy each and every October. And AMC’s FearFest and Syfy’s 31 Days of Halloween aren’t the only small screen marathons that help make the weeks leading up to Halloween extra enjoyable.

Freeform, formerly ABC Family, just announced the full schedule for their annual 13 Nights of Halloween programming block, which begins TONIGHT and runs straight through the big day. The spooky marathon first became a staple of the network way back in 1998, and was a direct answer to the success of their Christmas-themed marathon.

Read on for the full 2016 schedule, which includes fan favorite films like Hocus Pocus, Corpse Bride, Tim Burton’s Sleepy Hollow and even The Final Girls!

Don’t get me wrong, there’s some great titles there, but Sleepy Hollow and The Final Girls definitely seem out of place on that list.

Wait are you saying Sleepy Hollow and Final girls should NOT be on Freeform???

      • Matt

I don’t care what they show. Virtually all of them are kid oriented, whereas those two are not.

  • Will only be watching for Charli XCX and the Final Girls <3

Freeform is awesome now. Finally a channel kids/teens/adults can all watch. As long as they don’t cut the movies to much they will be a huge success. Well done folks

I was shocked to see Final Girls on the list that’s a really good movie and very recent. Good to see newer movies instead of the same old things over and over. Nice!

Hocus Pocus always a fun movie to watch

I still haven’t see The Final Girls but I hesitate to watch it here. I don’t want it totally cut down.

Eh…. why is Matilda on this lineup. Has nothing to do with Halloween or horror.
