Published

on

You just gotta know when to cut your losses and move on.”

Rob Zombie has spent the past ten+ years of his career as a working filmmaker, and he has to date released seven feature films. His most recent movie, the Halloween-set 31 (read our review), just landed exclusively on Shudder, and the streaming service just provided Rue Morgue with an exclusive piece of bonus content that sees Zombie talking about the films that almost were.

In the short video, which runs just 90-seconds long, Zombie touches upon movies like The Crow: 2037, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Broad Street Bullies, and even a remake of The Blob that he briefly worked on in the wake of his Halloween movies. Check it out below.

If you want to own 31 on DVD or Blu-ray, you can pre-order it today.

In the film:

From the visionary mind of Rob Zombie comes the horrific story of five carnival workers who are kidnapped on Halloween and held hostage in a large compound. At the mercy of their captors, they are forced to play a twisted game or life or death called 31. For the next 12 hours they must fight for their lives against an endless parade of homicidal maniacs.

31 stars Sheri Moon Zombie (House of 1000 Corpses), Jeff Daniel Phillips (HBO’s “Westworld”) Elizabeth Daily (Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure), Meg Foster (The Lords of Salem), Kevin Jackson (Conspiracy Theory), Richard Blake (Batman Begins), Judy Geeson (TV’s “Gilmore Girls”) and Malcolm McDowell (Halloween).

Writer in the horror community since 2008. Editor in Chief of Bloody Disgusting. Owns Eli Roth's prop corpse from Piranha 3D. Has four awesome cats. Still plays with toys.
