Juan Antonio Bayona is in the director’s chair for the tentatively-titled Jurassic World 2, and while we wait for plot details, we come bearing some more casting news today. THR reports that Oscar nominee James Cromwell (“American Horror Story”) has come on board the sequel, which will see both Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard reprising their roles from the 2015 hit.
No character details are available at this time.
The cast also includes Ted Levine, Daniella Pineda, Justice Smith, Rafe Spall and Toby Jones.
Jurassic World helmer Colin Trevorrow co-wrote the screenplay with Derek Connolly, and will exec produce with Steven Spielberg. Belén Atienza, Patrick Crowley and Frank Marshall will produce.
The 2015 feature grossed $1.67 billion at the global box office, becoming the fourth highest-grossing movie of all time.
