If you grew up in the ’90s, chances are you’re a fan of the children’s horror novels Goosebumps, by R.L. Stine. The Goosebumps series was a big part of many horror fanatics’ childhoods. If you’re like me, you enrolled at Horror High with Goosebumps and graduated with Stephen King.
The Goosebumps cover art, sometimes even more so than the actual stories, fueled my imagination for horror. The covers, illustrated by Tim Jacobus, had a perfect blend of color, creepiness, and even humor. I would spend countless hours trying to draw the various covers and even tried to create versions of my own.
Goosebumps holds a special place in my heart, as the books were my initial introduction into horror. Below you’ll see my personal ranking of every Goosebumps cover from worst to best!
