Trailer Edit Turns ‘Silence of the Lambs’ into a Romantic Comedy

He was looking for a way out. She was looking for a way in. Bars couldn’t keep them apart.

Whether you feel that The Silence of the Lambs is a horror movie, a “detective thriller” or something else entirely (I’ve had this silly, totally pointless debate so many times and I really don’t care to have it again), one thing we can all agree on is that it’s most definitely not a romantic comedy. Well, at least it wasn’t originally intended to be a romantic comedy…

Thanks to some clever editing, it now is!

The folks over on CineFix just gave their “Trailer Mix” treatment to the 1991 film, and you might be surprised by how convincingly it can be turned into a rom-com with a little editing.

Said the team:

The 1991 classic is such a thrilling crime drama but wouldn’t it be as creepy and (quite frankly) hilarious if Hannibal Lecter fell in love with Detective Starling? No? Well, we think so!

Check out the fun trailer edit below!
