You won’t want to shake this Polaroid picture.
Dimension is hoping to start a new horror franchise with director Lars Klevberg’s Polaroid, headed to theaters this coming August. As you probably guessed, it’s about a sinister Polaroid camera that holds dark secrets, which honestly sounds right up my alley. Check out the poster below!
Polaroid stars Kathryn Prescott (The Hive), Mitch Pileggi (“The X-Files”), Grace Zabriskie (The Grudge), Tyler Young (Eyewitness), Keenan Tracey (“Bates Motel”), Samantha Logan (The Fosters), Priscilla Quintana (Stranded), Madelaine Petsch (“Riverdale”) and Javier Botet (Mama).
High school loner Bird Fitcher (Prescott) has no idea what dark secrets are tied to the Polaroid vintage camera she stumbles upon, but it doesn’t take long to discover that those who have their picture taken meet a tragic end.
The film is produced by Roy Lee (The Ring, Blair Witch) and Chris Bender (The Ring, The History of Violence). Written by Blair Butler, it’s based on the short by Lars Klevberg.
Polaroid is set to be released wide on August 25, 2017.
