Alice Cooper Releasing New Album ‘Paranormal’ in July

He rocked out with Jason and played Freddy’s step-dad. Alice Cooper is a true horror icon.

It was just announced today that the 69-year-old Alice Cooper will be releasing brand new album Paranormal on July 28th, his 27th studio album and his first since 2011’s Welcome 2 My Nightmare. Yes, it’s been six years since we’ve got a new one from Cooper, so this is needless to say a hotly-anticipated release that we cannot wait to get our hands on.

Via the website Team Rock, the 12-track album will be released on 2CD Digipak, 2LP, limited edition box set and digital formats – and will come with a special mini album.

The album has been recorded in Nashville with long-time collaborator Bob Ezrin and features a very special bonus CD – a mini-album consisting of three brand new songs written and recorded together with the original Alice Cooper band members Dennis Dunaway, drummer Neal Smith and guitarist Michael Bruce, alongside carefully selected live recordings. Paranormal also features special guest appearances by U2’s Larry Mullen Jr, ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons and Deep Purple’s Roger Glover.

Cooper is currently on tour throughout the United States.

    Shit alice needs to stop!

No he doesn’t respectfully. The man is still putting out great albums and his live show is better than ever. He moves around like someone half his age.

Lol, well I appreciate your respectfullness but in my opinion I feel his best days are over. I’m a huge alice Cooper fan and a huge ac/dc fan. When people were saying ac/dc should hang it up it pissed me off. But they were right, rock gods only have so much time. I’m 44 and been to a lot of Alice concerts, so I’m going by my experiences. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, glad to hear your a fan

I can’t wait for this. Alice still delivers.

I am fired up about this. Alice is the exception to the rule in that he never seems to age. The two shows I have seen in the last year or so (and I have seen Alice many other times through the years) are some of the best concerts I have ever seen him done and some of his more recent albums are really spot on too. Long live the Coop! I am picking this one up on the first day.
