We’ll all float this Halloween.
After Andy Muschietti’s IT surely dominates the box office next month, we expect that Pennywise will be one of the most popular Halloween costumes this year.
There are already a handful of different masks and costumes based on the Tim Curry iteration of the killer clown – including a brand new one that’s selling for almost $1,000! – but what about the new Pennywise?
Actor Bill Skarsgard is the man behind the makeup in this year’s re-adaptation of the King novel, and the various promo images and trailers have already ensured that Pennywise 2017 is going to cause even more nightmares than Pennywise 1990 did. We are incredibly impressed, particularly by the makeup team’s contributions.
The good news? If you end up loving the new IT, not one but two officially licensed masks are going to be hitting Halloween costume shops this Fall. The first is a latex half mask, which is affordable and not of the highest quality, while the second is a much more deluxe version that’ll have you looking like you walked off the set.
