Stunning New ‘mother!’ Poster Pays Tribute to a Horror Classic

Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky returns to the horror genre with mother!, which we refreshingly don’t know much about. We just know that it’s going to mess with our minds, and we’re 100% sure that Aronofsky’s hands are great ones to be in.

A new poster that just dropped today plays up the comparisons to Rosemary’s Baby, as it recreates that film’s iconic art. Our interest is more than piqued, at this point.

In the film…

A couple’s relationship is tested when uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting their tranquil existence.

Jennifer Lawrence, Javier Bardem, Ed Harris, Domnhall Gleeson, Kristen Wiig and Michelle Pfeiffer star in this riveting psychological thriller about love, devotion and sacrifice.

Look for mother! on September 15.

My eldest child, my beloved daughter, advised me that this will be my birthday present this year.

    I don’t think I did too bad.

Just awful. Jennifer Lawrence ruins everything.

It really is too bad she’s in it because everything else about this movie looks excellent so far.

    • Give it a chance and see the outcome before writing it off completely based on the actress. She might pull it off

This film has so many gorgeous posters. I love it but I still prefer the first one with Lawrence’s character literally handing her heart out.

Aronofsky goes full-on horror this time. I hope he’ll keep what he promises. The trailer looks fantastic and the cast is pretty amazing (Michelle Pfeiffer!). So far, it looks really well.

  • So many clues given to us and I still can’t figure it out! Nicely done! Can’t wait!
