The Starbucks Zombie Frappuccino is Arriving This Week!

Yes, that’s totally a whipped cream brain.

Starbucks went viral earlier this year with their sickly sweet Unicorn Frappuccino, a limited time offering that made for a damn fine Instagram photo. What sort of insanity will they think of next? Well, we’re happy to report that Starbucks is celebrating Halloween this year (this week, to be exact) with the new Zombie Frappuccino!

Teased by several different Starbucks baristas on social media over the weekend, the Zombie Frappuccino will be available beginning Thursday, October 26.

The limited offering, available only through Halloween, will be a cream frappuccino “blended with a special new ‘Green Caramel Apple Powder and Pink Powder’ (of undisclosed flavor) for another splash of color.”

Via Day of the Human, “this creates a drink with colors evocative of a classic cartoon zombie.” It’ll be topped off with pink whipped cream and pink mocha drizzle.

Brains. All because of Return of the Living Dead. Which, I enjoyed. But I can’t deal with everyone thinking that brains are their fare of choice.

Hoping this will be in Canada so I can try it.

  • I would be the first one to drink it, but I refuse to be responsible for the apocalypse. If Bob drinks it first, I can blame him.

I can’t wait to try one!!

it looks wonderfully delicious but i don’t know if a caramel apple drink is my thing. if it was somehow a chocolate or white chocolate-ish drink then yes. but that whip cream “brain” looks freaking YUMMY!

I saw an ad for a Vampire frap at my local (Norwegian) Starbucks, which wasn’t anything more interesting than a chocolate one with strawberry sauce…

You love your GMO might as well Dress It Up if it makes you feel better about drinking it

Just had one in Toronto. Flavour is similar to green apple and wild-berry. Quite refreshing actually.

**EDIT** – Take that back, half hour in from the first sip and getting some gnarly stomach cramps. Not trying this again.

With this much sugar I’m sure it’s delicious, but drinkers be warned…
