Gay Horror Film ‘HellBent’ Gets Theatrical Release

After premiering at ScreamFest LA this past October, some people had high hopes for the gay-themed horror film HellBent, which follows five characters fighting for survival during West Hollywood’s annual carnival. Well not only has the film been picked up for US distribution, but it’s hitting theaters this June! Read on for the story…
Variety reports:

Here Films has acquired worldwide distribution rights to the feature “HellBent” by writer-helmer Paul Etheredge-Ouzts.

Gay-themed horror project follows five characters fighting for survival during West Hollywood’s annual carnival.

Pic will be rolled out with Regent Releasing in June.

Steven J. Wolfe (“Twin Falls Idaho”) and Joshua Silver produced for the Sneak Preview Entertainment banner, with Joseph Wolf (“A Nightmare on Elm Street”) as an exec producer.

Dylan Fergus, Bryan Kirkwood, Hank Harris, Andrew Levitas, Matt Phillips and Nick Name star.

A subsid of the gay TV net Here, production and distrib banner was founded by Regent Entertainment’s Paul Colichman and Stephen P. Jarchow.
