Guess it Was a Mistake- ‘Breed’ Casting Confirmed!

Well here’s irony at its best, as I report that I think Ian Somerhalder has not been cast in the Wes Craven produced horror film The Breed, news actually just appears out of thin air with the first official casting details- and there’s no Ian. But who will we see? Read on and find out! The film tells of two brothers, one a highly athletic daredevil and the other a much more serious and sensitive type, who in the midst of trying to patch up their wonky relationship – on a getaway at their Uncle’s house – are forced to flee a pack of vicious killer dogs – the titular ‘Breed’.
According to the Hollywood Reporter:

“Michelle Rodriguez, Taryn Manning, Oliver Hudson, Hill Harper and Eric Lively will topline the indie horror project “The Breed.” First Look Media and DEJ Prods. have acquired worldwide rights. Wes Craven is executive producing. His longtime collaborator Nick Mastandrea is making his directorial debut on the project. “The Breed” also will be executive produced by Hal Sadoff and is being produced by David Lancaster and Marianne Maddalena in conjunction with Apollo Media and the IDC in South Africa, where the film begins shooting Monday.”

Tough girl Michelle Rodriguez can beat me up anytime…
