While cleaning off their shelves, Dimension Home Video realized they had some goodies hiding under the dust… and today they released a ton DVD specs for their upcoming releases today and boy do they look, meh… Inside you’ll find details on Hellraiser: Hellworld, which hits stores on September 6th; The Crow: Wicked Prayer, which finally hits stores on July 19th; and Dracula III: Legacy, which hits stores July 12th. Dimension Home Video has also announced The Crow: Wicked Prayer, which stars Edward Furlong, Tara Reid, David Boreanaz, Emmanuelle Chriqui and Dennis Hopper. In the fourth installment of “The Crow” series, Luc Crash, the leader of a satanic gang of bikers, murders a young man named Jimmy Cuervo and his girlfriend Lily for the purpose of a ritual to make Crash an immortal demon. Cuervo rises from the dead with the power of the crow to avenge his girlfriend’s death, and to stop the completion of the unholy ritual. The disc will be available to own from the 19th July, and priced at around $29.99. As well as an anamorphic widescreen transfer and English Dolby Digital 5.1 track, the disc will include a filmmaker audio commentary, deleted scenes, storyboards, a feature on the production design and a behind the scenes featurette.
Dimension Home Video has also officially announced Hellraiser: Hellworld in which Pinhead finds out that computer hackers have opened a virtual Lament Configuration on a website, and retaliates as only he can. The film stars Lance Henriksen, and will be available to own from the 6th September this year. Retail will be set at around $29.99. The film itself will be presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 track. Extras will include a filmmaker audio commentary and a behind the scenes featurette entitled Ticket to Hellworld. We’ll bring you the official artwork very shortly.
Dimension Home Video has sent over the official artwork for Dracula III: Legacy which stars the likes of Jason Scott Lee, Jason London and Roy Scheider. The film tells the story of the feared Dracula, who leads vampire hunters Father Uffizi and Luke back to eastern Europe and a country plagued by civil war. There they discover powerful local warlords are assisting Dracula by capturing victims and delivering them to feed the vampires residing in Dracula’s castle! And to make matters worse, Father Uffizi must face his own temptations as he struggles to overcome the vampire virus within himself! The disc will be available to own from the 12th July, priced at around $29.99 or thereabouts. As well as a 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer and an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track, the disc will include a writer/director/producer/make-up effects audio commentary, an alternate ending, a deleted scene, a Mythology of Vampires featurette, a conversation with effects artist Gary Tunnicliffe, original film treatments, cast auditions and trailers.
