Box Office: Horror Fans Sleep Through the Weekend…
If anyone was dead it wasn’t Romero’s zombies- it was the average horror fan as apparently no one gave a rats ass about Universal’s Land of the Dead. The reviews were fairly positive and the hype was extraordinary, and yet George Romero’s fourth zombie flick- that took 20 years to get off the ground- only pulled in $10,233,000 at the number 5 spot.
