Review: David Cronenberg’s ‘A History of Violence’

If you head on over to FDM you can read our review for New Line Cinema’s A History of Violence, which hits select cities this Friday and rolls out wide September 30th. David Cronenberg’s (interview) film tells the story of an ordinary family’s life after the father receives unwanted national attention for a seemingly vigilante-style self-defense killing at his diner. The film stars Viggo Mortensen, Maria Bello, Ed Harris and William Hurt.
